Maths Class

5th and 6th class enjoying maths class using Izac9.

Izak9 uses a combination of both physical and digital learning and is a visual and kinaesthetic active learning resource which allows children to interact with 3D animated e-learning material, a physical resource and above all, with each other.The idea is to develop that appreciation of the beauty and power of mathematics, and provide a sense of enjoyment and curiosity about the subject.

Marbling Art pictures

We did some marbling art in class last week. We mixed turpentine with water and added some oil colours to the mixture. We then dipped our paper into the solution and the results were very dynamic and striking. What do you think?

Aisling Doonan is a ZoomBoom coach who delivers a school programme based on child developmental milestones. (gross and fine motor, play and social development skills)Each class works on flexibility, cardio, strenght (core, lower and upperbody) co-ordination and balance through fun games and activities.Each child is also provided with an activity tracker and a challenge to reach their daily 60 mins of "huff and puff" activity as reccommended by world heath organisation 9W.H.O)This programme started on Wednesday 16th of September and will run for 6 weeks.
