cookery

On Friday 6th class made flapjacks.
Here are some photos and the recipe 
if you would like to make them at home.



What you need: 
225g/8oz Odlums Porridge Oats 
125g/4oz Butter or Margarine 
125g/4oz Shamrock Demerara Sugar 
75g/3oz Golden Syrup or honey
Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas 4. 
Grease and line an 8"/20 cm square tin.  . 
Melt the butter/margarine with the sugar and syrup.. 
Stir in the oats. . 
Turn into the prepared tin. 
Smooth top and press down well. . 
Bake for 20-30 minutes. 
When baked, cool in tin for 5 minutes. Cut into fingers. 
Cool completely before removing from tin.
